Hello, I'm just looking for a first car now, my dad has agreed to buy me a BMW E30 after I suggested the idea because I quite like the look and have heard great things about them. I was wondering if you guys had an suggestions to look for or pitfalls to avoid with buying E30's. I will most likely be buying one through craigslist and am looking for a 325is, a 325i, or a 318is. Thank you ahead of time for any help!! appvalley tutuapp tweakbox

I would say buy the OLDEST one you can find, less complicated, simpler, easier to fix. You must be in US as you don't mention the excellent 320i. But I am biased.

All comments by me should be taken in the right sprite, Jack Daniels is fine.

Seriously? There's nothing simple about the prehistoric jetronic set-up! Motronic every time.

Agreed, buy the newest you can. The 93 models are usually very well put together
