Pity the front panel is fixed, a bit of a worry for such a pricey piece of kit.

Saw a review on this a while back, I think its great that Blaupunkt are catering to the classic car scene, especially given that they were the innovators back in the day. It looks period correct with all the modern technology you could wish for. Worth taking note though that the bluetooth will not play music, only for calls and sat nav. Just think the price is a bit on the high side as they know the porsche crowd will be all over it.

SD card for music is fine as that's what I use in the Subaru and E30 at the moment, I like the styling but as someone said shame no removable front but my car lives in the garage, if it was £300 it would be on its way to me now.
It is damn sexy though.........

Now that is seriously tempting, I moved away from having a headunit and just use a JL Audio MBT-RX.
So much want on this one. I've got a Pioneer DAB unit which had way too many disco lights on it for my liking but pouring a bit of black paint into the facia to dull some of them made it tolerable.
My heart sank when I saw no bluetooth streaming but I checked the Blaupunkt website and it's listing A2DP on the specifications:
Stolen from Wikipedia:
It's also listing phone book access, remote control protocol, etc as well.Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
This profile defines how multimedia audio can be streamed from one device to another over a Bluetooth connection (it is also called Bluetooth Audio Streaming). For example, music can be streamed from a mobile phone to a wireless headset, hearing aid/cochlear implant streamer, or car audio; alternately from a laptop/desktop to a wireless headset; also, voice can be streamed from a microphone device to a recorder on a PC.[1] The Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) is often used in conjunction with A2DP for remote control on devices such as headphones, car audio systems, or stand-alone speaker units. These systems often also implement Headset (HSP) or Hands-Free (HFP) profiles for telephone calls, which may be used separately.
Each A2DP service, of possibly many, is designed to uni-directionally transfer an audio stream in up to 2 channel stereo, either to or from the Bluetooth host.[2] This profile relies on AVDTP and GAVDP. It includes mandatory support for the low-complexity SBC codec (not to be confused with Bluetooth's voice-signal codecs such as CVSDM), and supports optionally MPEG-1 Part 3/MPEG-2 Part 3 (MP2 and MP3), MPEG-2 Part 7/MPEG-4 Part 3 (AAC and HE-AAC), and ATRAC, and is extensible to support manufacturer-defined codecs, such as aptX.[3]
Some Bluetooth stacks enforce the SCMS-T digital rights management (DRM) scheme. In these cases, it is impossible to connect certain A2DP headphones for high quality audio.
It's definitely staying on my list - may well get one for the summer.Bluetooth
Bluetooth module built-in (HFP, PBAP, A2DP, SPP, AVRCP)
Twin-Connect
Phonebook access
Built-in + external microphone
Navigation audio mix
I got the Continental TR7412UB-OR.
It completely changed the sound system (standard) for my 325i, so much so i do not need to upgrade the 30 year old speakers, very happy. Plug and play adapter was included as well.

Couldn't wait.
Really happy with it, easy to work through the menus (much easier than the Pioneer I had) and sounds great (alpine components in the front running off the factory installed Pioneer GM20 amp and alpine rears running off the head unit). Adjustable RGB colour scheme and no silly disco light mode. It's a very slim unit as well so really easy to fit.
They do for the DAB/FM radio but I tend to stream everything now anyway so you could get away with it if you wanted.
I've got a DAB splitter running from the hirschman aerial on the car so haven't got a separate DAB aerial on the windscreen or anything.
On my Bremen I don't seem to be able to stream spotify (android phone) to the headunit. I'm sure I'm just being stupid but I can't get it to work. Any tips?
The phone is paired with the headunit, telephone calls play through the car speakers but no music is audible.
Thanks

It worked first time for me (and the pic I posted got shows it when it's streaming). I had read threads that said that it didn't do audio streaming but it's listed in the specifications that the audio streaming service was enabled. Not sure if in the options on the bluetooth device on your android phone you've got it enabled for both calls and audio. (I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 running Android 10 and OneUI 2).Theo wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 3:36 pmOn my Bremen I don't seem to be able to stream spotify (android phone) to the headunit. As with all things related to technology, turn it off and on again, maybe delete and re-pair the device and make sure that you've got the latest version of firmware / android

£379 on ebay - probably another in a long line of economic decisions on the car that have no sensible connection with reality.Satan wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 7:01 pmI still am tempted but the E30 is sorted, could use it in the Lotus.......... did you get a good price or the standard advertised price?jas025 wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 12:11 amCouldn't wait.

Sounds familiar
I do like the look of this...
Thanks, looks like I haven't updated my android for a while so I'll do that and then re-pair.jas025 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 3:19 pmIt worked first time for me (and the pic I posted got shows it when it's streaming). Wow!! what a fantastic 20th birthday present, lucky you. Well done.
I've just got mine but not fitted yet, birthday present for me also so have to wait until the 26th. You can't stream via Bluetooth and it sits maybe 5 or 6mm proud by the look of the pictures I've seen. Sorry if that puts you off.
It was on Amazon for £350 via Holland but I dithered too long and missed it.
Got it for £380 in the end.
