S54 into the e30

Hi all so I have been mulling over what engine to put in my e30. I have had an m52 in before but fancied more power.

I have a rough e46 m3 that I bought cheap for fun engine is good with lots of work done and so on.

Is this swap still fairly straight forward? Love the way the power is delivered by an S54 I imagine it would be brutal in the e30
