CCA sold a 1989 BMW E30 325I SPORT at their NEC sale earlier this year for £29k ( that was £3,k above top estimate )
It had more miles @ 67,000 and when I looked at it also with slightly shadowy paint finish on the bonnet?
Interesting that CCA chose the E30 to promote the auction.

I understand these cars are rare and desirable low mileage sports, but some of the prices are very silly.

Yep! never thought I'd see the day a MK1 Mexico fetched what they do now, and to think I scrapped mine
Glad I hung on to the E30 though

I know, it was only 8 years ago I bought a one owner 1300e Mk1 for £1,800... and last year the bloke I sold it to, sold it for £12,000!!! I felt like a right mug!
But I’ve got a 2 owner 325i now that I’m definitely keeping for sure!
