I have a 1989 320i e30 convertible.
when I purchased the car the front foglamp units were completely missing ( I understand why now after seeing the prices of them lol)
does anyone know if you can buy blanks to fit in there ?
just thinking it could be a better/cheaper option for me to do in the meantime. ??

Blanks were fitted to E30s as standard unless the front foglamp option box was ticked, so the answer to your question is yes.
Part numbers are 51 71 1 979 321 and 51 71 1 979 322. No idea if they're still available new, but there should e second hand ones out there.
