E30 325i touring

I own a 325i touring and was wondering if the gearbox is different to that of a 325i sport or is it the same.

Also what LSD ratio is best for a 1989 325i touring?

I'd a 3:91 in mine and it went well. Your question is a bit open ended..... do you want to drift, race trace or cruise high street?

Best ratio for an oem feel, fast road use, occasional track day.
