just google it, all it keeps bringing up is that advert,
makes me think some is trying it on
makes me think some is trying it on
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

How could you be soooooooo cynical ?steve_k wrote:just google it, all it keeps bringing up is that advert,

Too much crap in the wording of the advert for me.
Mart.
Only the E46 cab left now.
Just got too old.

this is the trouble with this site, as soon as some thing no one knows nothing about out come the cynical comments lol, its a very genuine car period.. all i am trying to do chaps is find out just how rare it is, if you look at the zone brochure wiki it is on there 320i Edition S, ITS NOT A GHOST , if you look at the chassis number build you will see its a very genuine car...just thought someone on the zone might have some info.
Not trying to sell the car! just some more info would be good.
I asked a question last year re.a individual interior in a 318 touring out came all the "cynical" comments...but it actually was a very rare factory ordered car with a interior no one had seen,
Going back to the actual car its a very very rare car, i know you have better things to do but once you really start to look into the car its like hens teeth....but unlike hens teeth this little ultra rare model did exist.

i wasn't being cynical, it was just the fact i had never heard of one before, & after seeing a few sellers trying it on "very rare special edition, never seen before" type adverts you get a bit wary, tcos wrote:this is the trouble with this site, as soon as some thing no one knows nothing about out come the cynical comments lol, its a very genuine car period.. all i am trying to do chaps is find out just how rare it is, if you look at the zone brochure wiki it is on there 320i Edition S, ITS NOT A GHOST , if you look at the chassis number build you will see its a very genuine car...just thought someone on the zone might have some info.

having done a bit more dogging yes it is a rare car, but folk will always be wary.

Sounds and looks similar to a Tech 1 Sport, but I doubt it comes with a close-ratio gearbox or LSD. Interesting model though...

I am going to get the big shovel out and see what i can dig up, i do like a challenge but hoped that someone on the Zone would know some more info, had a guy in France mail over the brochure in English, which was nice of him.
I put the car through a mot yesterday its 2nd in 19yrs! passed no problem, looked quite good underneath.
the original owner optioned from new, sport seats which are as new and i mean as new, opening rear quarter lights, rear shelf blind, fogs, rear arm rest/ski hatch.
No power steering
No electric windows
The interior is in amazing original condition, bodywork is dead original but i will have it painted as long as some how i don't loose the side decals..stripes

If anyone knows, it would be Barry, I'm sure he would know more about it.

Nothing like a bit of dogging to clear things upsteve_k wrote:having done a bit more dogging yes it is a rare car
I've never heard of an edition S either. It may well be rare but it's not exactly interesting, just a 320i with a couple of bolt-on extras.
never said it was interesting, just looking to see who knows any thing. last 7 are 9497978,
might not be interesting but its a very rare uninteresting E30, and being a E30 Zone site thought with all the interesting zoners someone may be able to tell me something interesting.

I will try and get the official brochure on here, its a model which should be embraced and shouted from the rooftops which has been discovered alive and kicking. what i have discovered so far is it was only made in the last quarter of 1985, only in 1 colour, only 2 doors, manual,
M sport suspension, Green glass, 380mm sport wheel with the leather gear knob, front/back spoilers, dechrome..except gutter trim, black manual ariel, manual sun roof, side stripes,14" bottle tops with pirelli tyres.
what i find interesting is there seems to be no one who has actually seen one let alone own one, if it was not for the official bmw brochure we could say it was a myth.

Well done you in finding in it, have we now got to the point that anything less than a motor sport convertible is not worth discussing . the car is still an E30 and equal in my eyes

Lovely car. Wind up windows though? Throw all the options at it and forget the windows...
SOLD now anyway, not surprised.

Me too. I'd even have an Allegro Equipe to be honest, if it was mint.

Yeah, and they did that for Kia FFS. But the Sunbeam had nice side decal strips?
