I'm willing to pay a yearly fee for membership. What's the bandwidth usage for the site like currently? I may or may not be able to help out with that, depending on traffic volumes, but I can definitely help out with server admin or software development, since it is my day job.

Ok some say why PHP still but Steve has tweaked the PHP and upgraded and to be honest it works.

So a potentially lot more available thanks to his hard work and the generous donations by the zoners, .net and fb.

How about a membership fee? For true members £5 per year with full access? ?? Sure people would pay that.

The problem is everyone has gone to facebook to slag each other off about my one better than yours.

also it's to blame for the fact my sport is no running a heavily tweaked hartge based m20 2.7,

We have plenty of bandwidth thanks, in our heyday we were dealing with 2 million hits a month but not anymore

I think Iain is referring to the Zone current software (I think the post was taken from FB). I will still be relying heavily on PHP

A question if I may Steve. If the new zone does include a proper photo/video hosting function, how will this affect the future running costs in regards to the extra storage required? I appreciate the number of posts with high res photos/videos etc is low nowadays but it could build up over a few years, especially if the idea is not to delete anything. Thanks

Back in the day I believe there used to be zone stickers , now a days because the likely hood of meeting other E30 owners
out and about is getting less likely (certainly where I live) then that would be waste although if there is a spare one hanging about surplus I wouldn't say no
