Could be a chance for someone to pick up a bargain
1990 325i Sport in auction on Saturday with no reserve

Thats a fantastic sale !!! I was at the auction and had a really good look over the car . I thought it presented well but by no means cherished. Would need work to bring up to Condition A. Remove the bodykit and get into the quarters and who knows what work would be needed to repair / restore. Well sold.....

Agree with the post above. I was looking at going to view that car, but it only arrived there at 6pm the night before the auction. I'm a bit suspicious about that one - did it really sell for that amount when it had no service history from 60,000 miles and it's now on 110,000.
Never mind the E30, check out the epic Vanden Plas 1500

Yep - I've just lost my faith in that company now, especially since someone said that it was the auctioneers own car. Lets see if they happen to have another E30 325i Sport 2 in their next auction.
Their is a nice grey one for sale on pistonheads for £17K, with good service history from a dealer which means you get a short warranty. Why would you spend more on a lesser car at an auction where your warranty is a grand total of zero!? You can't drive them either, what if you find it jumps out of gear and the clutch is slipping and it consumes loads of oil and water - tough luck it's an auction!
The more I think about it, the less it makes sense - I'm convinced it was a bogus sale to give the impression of higher values.
