Alright chaps and ladies
My E30 has now come out of it's 4 year hibernation and is going to be put right finally. It needs new rear arches so will be ordering the repair panels.
However, I've always had rubbing issues with tyres and running wider wheels. I wont run daft stretched tyres.
Its a facelift car and my theory is to buy pre-facelift repair panels (deeper than facelift) and cut along the arch profile and bring it out an inch or so, and therefore naturally down, giving the standard facelift wheel arch. Has anyone tried this before?
I thought about using front wings and doing it that way, but it probably isn't as easy.
