A friend recently sold a good condition iS with 75k for 3.5k I think that's a fair estimation. Some of the prices going on at the minute are crazy. I guess it's what some people are willing to pay.

it's subjective, it all comes down to what some one is willing to pay.

the market dictates the value.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
getting oral sex off an ugly person is like rock climbing.....don't look down ;)

Agreed. 8k seems steep but if it sold then fair play! With less and less of them on the road I guess they should command some sort of premium. Colour probably has a fair bit to do with it as the white and black seem more desirable than red. If someone offered me 8k for mine (103k miles) id take it in a heartbeat.

I am mulling over swapping my 320i for a 318is or 325i (not decided which way to go yet).

Does anybody know why the 318is seem to always have a lot more miles on them?
