My cars been off the road for almost a year. Booked it in for mot today, rear shoes seized
I'd left off the hand brake but not completely, and then whilst in reverse without thinking pulled up the hand brake.straight away I knew that wasnt the right thing to do,now I've booked a tow on monday to get me to the garage.
There's another little problem I can't get the garage doors past the rear bumper so the fekin car can't get out. I'm still trying to get a mobile mechanic out,is there any one who has any ideas

How much would it cost to fix? Garage prices.

It all depends on what damage you've caused,my guess is the shoe pin has been pulled out of the back plate.
Does the car move at all? Forwards or backwards

If the pin has pulled out its new wheel bearings and back plates Idd say around £100 + parts per side at a garage. Some people cut the back plate so you don't have to remove the hub and damage the bearings.

sorry but why would the bearings need replacing?

my hand brake faid a while back due to the pin pulling through the back plate, all i did was buy a couple of nuts, bolts & washers & two new springs to hold it all together when i rebuilt it & it's been like that a few years now, never a problem with the mot either.

at most cost me just over £5.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
getting oral sex off an ugly person is like rock climbing.....don't look down ;)
