How much should it cost in terms of labour to rebuild
A M40 top end

The same price as it would cost to buy a low mileage complete engine

Had my car for 9 years engine is bang on tappets have gone Also needs
The cam belt needs changing.

Got a full top end cheap new tappets, camshaft, timeing belt, water pump as a
Job lot.

Also he's had the head all cleaned up.

Wanted to slap it all in.

How much roughly should I be paying to get it done?
