The factory fitting is by Sikaflex 255 polyurethane adhesive, as I've said further up the thread. The fixing clips are for little more than locating the spoiler correctly.

Just wanted to advise that this is NOT abandoned. I have not had time to get everything underway. I can confirm that the factory spoiler can be fitted with just Sikaflex 255 polyurethane adhesive or similar.

I have also noticed that the factory spoiler has holes for the clips and I might be able to use this, I am not sure that this will be possible but will take a look.

Currently it is on the back burner, for now the plan is next year when I get my car in for body work etc...

My car is in the body shop, while there a mold of the mt2 rear spoiler for the touring will be made. After checking if the prototype is all ok. I will see how many should be made, the cost and so forth, as this will be a limited run.

They would be glued with windshield selant. As is the factory mt2 rear spoiler, noting that the original has 6 plastic clips

Just an update, this is being postponed due to time constraints. It will be done latter this year.
