What did you do to your E30 today?
Moderator: martauto
I looked at mine, thought about trying to get the passengers door to open then decided to play Fallout all day.

And now the fuel tank! Removing it to sort the brakes has resulted in it developing a leak. It did look a bit fragile but after 27 years service I can't really complain. Its been patched for a temporary fix and doesn't leak too much when its less than half full. A new one turned up from Germany yesterday (£150) and will be fitted on Tuesday.darkchild wrote:27 year old brake pipes replaced.

Given I've not spun a spanner on my Touring for a year, I can finally add something to this thread
I washed it Sunday, it was looking sad what with the green and moss growing on it

Got cracking today and stripped down the front of the engine, cam belt and roller, drive belts, water pump and thermostat etc all a bit of a mess though the cam belt was in good order, still, it's never been changed so will of course be.
Just bought a Seicento to knock on and cover the cost of the above parts and other service parts I will need, one question, best way to retighten the crank pulley bolt?
