Hi-Spec brakes...

Saw these today. Didn't have time to talk and get many details but it's a 4pot caliper with a 284x22mm disc that fits under the standard 15" BBS wheel using a 3mm spacer.

These are fitted to a newly built S50 E30 and first impressions are good...

I have hi-spec calipers on mine. 15" rims is pushing it, but certain types do fit. I tried some Mim 1900's (et13) recently and they won't clear the calipers without a 10mm spacer, and with the spacer they fouled the inner arch on the turn in. Also wheel balancing weights will foul the caliper if stuck on the inside of the rim. Other than that, I'm very happy with the performance of the calipers.

I have been looking for something like this, somebody on the Facebook page was selling four pot Porsche calipers with a 280mm disc and adapter bracket, from what I have heard Porsche Boxter calipers might be the ones but I have not seen anything definite any where yet

i've had the 284mmx22mm 4 pot caliper set up for nearly 10yr's & had no problems at all,

don't know how they are charging now but when i bought them they only cost me just over £500 (incl vat) for two discs, 2 x caliper, pads, braided lines & 5.1 fluid.

well worth it if you ask me
