My battery is on it's last legs, what's the best replacement I can get for around the 100 quid mark?

edit: http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/BMW_3 ... c74&000020

Would this be a good buy?

Same battery (same part number) works out at just under £80 on ECP's sister site, CP4L.

I've got this battery (well the S4 version, 4yr guarantee) but when I put up some photos of my engine compartment on here, some clown gave me a right verbal saying it spoils the engine bay and I should have the "proper" BMW battery installed.
If you buy this be prepared for a bol***ing!
But they are a good battery, especially at £80

I risked the wrath of the battery police and went for the Bosch S5 from CP4L (cheers Brian). With discount code I got it for 86 quid which is pretty good.

If you'd added on a filter or some other consumable for £5.20, the total price for your battery and whatever you ordered at £5.20 would have been £85.00. Even better!

I like the Bosch S5 because it's white like the original BMW battery that my car had.

Yes and if you printed a sticker with red "MW" and positioned it over the OSCH label, the battery police might be fooled!!........or maybe not.

I have a Bosch battery in mine (forget the model) but it's excellent. Fitted it early last year and even after sitting under cover on the driveway for 5 weeks or so recently the car fired straight up.
Rust is lighter than carbon fibre.

Nothing wrong with a Bosch battery, get a S5 & you'll still have enough change for a decent amount of petrol.
