So i'm getting some ronal LS wheels soon wondering what rubber to put on them. The tyres are for road use daily driving but occasional track days, so i don't want cheap and cheerful but i don't really want to pay more than £100 per wheel. so would a good premium tyre hold up to what i want and need ?

what comes recommended?

are any of the listed any good?

Bridgestone- Potenza Adrenalin RE002
Dunlop- SP Sport Fast Response
goodyear-EfficientGrip Performance
continental- premium contact 2

thinking 205/55 OR 225/50 heard they're the best 2 options
wheels are 15/7.5j

thanks in advance.

Dunlop fast response, have a set on my current sport and my old 316 and were brilliant! Had some jyno shit on before and they were hard, noisy and not grippy at all, the dunlops are grippy and quiet.

Good luck finding a 225/50/15.

Another vote for the dunlop fast response in 205/55/15 for road use.

I've been very happy with my Toyo TR-1's don't do many miles though so can't comment on wet use or longevity. Grip like shoot in the dry! Cheap at £70 each fitted 205/55-15

what about running 195/50/15 on OEM BBS ? the tyre choice seems miles better pilot sport 3s are available then.

They look too small on OEM BBS.

Bridgestone RE002! got a set of these on my e30, albeit with near enough every handling upgrade possible, the grip is phenomenal!

Probably the best tyres ive purchased, road noise is quite, comfortable, wet grip is brilliant, on a euro trip I had the slowest car 325 among M3's and E60's, lets just say trailing along with these motors doing 140 (on the autobahn of course) these tyres felt planted, even in the rain was doing about a ton + trying to keep up,

went on nurburg as well, the brakes failed after about 4 minutes, lets just say doing 110 approaching a corner with no brakes made my heart stop for a couple of seconds, had no choice but to chuck it in the corner, just gripped all the way around, little bit of throttle to keep it balanced, even trying to wheel spin it just skips along and grips,

I bought these going via tyre reviews .com think these are near enough on the top without getting into track tyres,
