I've just purchased a 325 sport and Needs a suspension overhaul, what is the correct suspension for the car? Anything people recommend, I've heard bilstein abs eibach?

Bilstein and Eibach are a great combination. How firm do you want it? There's a couple of choices

I'm a big fan of my eibach springs/bilstein shocks and H&R sway bars...

Although looking at video it doesn't corner quite as flat as I had thought!

How much is it lowered by? I want it looking sort of original, I don't mind slightly lower than standard sport

My experience -

Had bilstein/eibach on 328is - super , really was great

Eibach/bilstein on my 325 sport - didn't like it it sat too low at front and scraped on bumps and dips, bought genuine Bmw mtech springs and its a world of difference much much nicer to drive, eibach and a sport kit front valanc is not a good combination it's too low for the springs and weight of the engine

My 325i sport is on eibach B8 combo and I've fitted more eibach pro kit sping kits to 325i's than I care to remember and they've never say too low.

Have never hit my m technic front spoiler on any thing.

Sure you got sent the right Spring kit Carl?

M technic springs are -15mm and eibach -35mm so 20mm Lower than m-technic.

I'm really not sure, presume they sent right ones and I think I did double check the numbers on them when I received as you do , the front valance used to scrape on the old lowering springs when I st got the car , over some bumps or things like going in/out of my local garage where it went down then up a slight ramp from road and just here and there it would scrape, I was thinking the eibach pro kit would fix that and be better but tbh it just felt the same as before, put the mtech springs on it raised it that little bit and looked better aswell, and felt much better and it raised that confidence aswell, tested it on bumps etc felt much happier

I had H&R springs and Bilstein shocks on my sport, sat nice, never bottomed out or hit any speed bumps etc, ride was quite firm, but not overly.

cheapest & probably most council way of raising the front is to use grayston spring assister's same as jim did,
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

I'd go h&r, I had eibach for about 8 years it was too soft for the ride height imo.

Now running gc coil overs at a height slightly higher than the eibachs at the rear as I prefer the look

Just get Googling, checking eBay and ringing around local parts places and the likes of EuroCarparts.
