Part number?
Moderator: martauto
Anyone know the part number of this thing on the corner of the battery tray? Had a look over the battery tray section of RealOEM and I can't see anything similar.

Good shout as there were more possibilities.. but still drew a blankgruf wrote:Try vehicle electrical system. Then battery on oem
Ha! Good luck with that one. I've tried in vain to find it before but no joy.
I got two nice ones replated in yellow zinc passivate.

Ever thought about parting with one?bss325i wrote:Ha! Good luck with that one. I've tried in vain to find it before but no joy.

Off topic, but are battery trays supposed to be colour coded? If mine were, then that paint really has deteriorated to the point of vanishing!

Most of his posts are in the word association thread trying to bolster their post count. My money is on a troll or banned zoner with a different account. Ignore the mongs
Get the tray cleaned up with a wire wheel, rust treat any areas, prime and paint it asap Nic. Also have a look up inside the wheel arch to make sure it's not rotting from that side.

Thanks Ross. Dropped it off to the bodyshop this morning, left it in their capable hands, with a fresh battery tray for them to take metal fromross_jsy wrote:Most of his posts are in the word association thread trying to bolster their post count. you should update your thread Nick
Yeah it's not easy to get pics from this bodyshop though.. hard enough just to get them to do the work within a reasonable timeframe, let alone remind them to document what they've done lol.. I've got before and after snaps though, so will get around to itjimbom30cab wrote:you should update your thread Nick
