Just motd her last trip home and away to fit a replacement cossie T5 gearbox as the other one is ready to check out lol.

Im thinking carbon fibre eyebrows and splitter?

Maybe an adjustable E30 M3 spoiler with carbon fibre flap and some centre lock DTM wheels? Was also thinking of changing the mongoose backbox to a twin DTM item?

Your thoughts/opinion are greatly appreciated :)

Eyebrows are the height of council tat.

Centre locks are pretty pointless unless it's a race car, have fun changing a flat at the side of the road with those. Plus, centre lock DTM hubs cost more than most peoples cars on here, and centre lock adapters are gash

I dont commute with the car so if it gets a puncture i wont be far from my house!

Ive seen the price of centre lock setups and they dont bother me tbh! I think they look awesome. I just want something a bit different to what other people have on theirs.

Looks nice as it is, espectially under the bonnet!

It's your car mate, but if you have an itching to throw some more money at it, why not buy more sets of wheels so you can change the look of your car back and forth.

Bigger brakes, more power, remove the eyebrows and change the wheels - that's what I would do.

I like the fact it looks fairly standard but with an awesome engine under the bonnet.

What have you done with your old 'box out of interest?

Is E30 M3 brakes not good enough? What power would they be rated to?

The wheels need to go for sure but im just not 100% what to put on!

Thanks for the positive comments :)

I ran E30 M3 brakes on my S50 conversion and they were fine for fast road use, but when pushed hard they would fade. I'm guessing the S50 weighs more than the YB lump though??

You shouldn't have any worries if it's normal daily driving. I also ran my S50 conversion with the standard 260mm brakes and they were fine for pottering around town, but really didn't like being pushed!

I wouldn't have thought so and as you're running quite big wheels you should make the most of that clearance.

Re the wheels, loads of options for you, just I would steer away from style 5's as they're quite common.

The wheels on the car at the top of the page.

Some chunky compomotive mo's would suit it well.

Even though the micra is a 1.4,the motorsport door handles would not suit it's battered appearance.....'er indoors even managed to mangle the n/s door on a gate post going forward  and the bloody posts are 12' apart

And then she asks why I will not let 'er drive 'my' cars....

Lol my wife doesn't get to drive any of my cars just the 110 defender so if she does hit something it will hardly be noticeable and kinda blend in with the rugged look :)

Here's a picture of mine on compomotive's but they're only 15's - wheels are th monos.

Image

As you're running 5x120 you should have plenty options - look out for something off an ex e36 race car (as long as they're not bent!).
