Are you feeling sea sick?

Get some coilovers bolted up!

When will your engine be finished?

I did my first shakedown in the E30 in current trim.... 4.0 m60, Gaz golds, 2.7 rack, R888, WMS brakes, stripped etc etc .......... apart from a the gearbox whining like some of my ex's and the internal servo needing more bracing .....was just awesome fun...... a real hand full because I don't use any added ABS TC etc ........... I have no doubt that Andrew's kit is the biz but I just didn't want any electronic aids.......... "Lowtech" if you like 8) I can honestly say .......it's the best fun I have had on track and I've driven Elises, Caterhams etc ......so carry on polishing mate :D

My mate nicknamed it the Marshmallow car :-)

To be fair once I'd accepted it I had a hilarious amount of fun.

Dan has got some rear beam that he's bolting on for me that's supposed to improve things. I think I'll go BC Coilovers.

I'm hoping to get the car back mid August.

Thats the thing with cars which are badly setup, being a handful gives the illusion of going fast, reality is quite different :(

I've had two cars professionally built in the past, a Renault Clio Cup by Mark Fish Motorsport and a Lotus Elise (360hp) by Hoffman's both had decent suspension, Clio AST2's, Lotus Ohlins which failed and Nitrons, both cars were horrible to start with and it took a lot of time and work to get them set up correctly.

Considering it was the first one out after a total rebuild with no road time at all ......... I was more than happy with it being a handfull and who used the word fast ? I didn't !! 8O As I said.....first bit of tarmac it has sniffed this time around ........ and it has shown it's weaknesses so that's where ill improve......I am expecting about 4 track days to get it anywhere near ...."less off a handfull " :D

Sounds good Gus, I need to get to one of those track days a‘aaaa

The point I'm making is that i need to build products that result in winning cars, generally speaking that means fast laps.

a‘aaaa there's no obligation a˜Ž

For what it's worth this system in stand alone is ABS and DSC only, no TC.
