Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place for this sort of question.Hi all I'm considering buying 16" BBS crosspokes (basket weaves, whatever you want to call them, but I thought that only 14" and 15" crosspokes were 4x100.I thought that the 16" were the m3 ones and that they were 5 stud, are 16" crosspokes 4x100 OEM wheels?,Thanks. Here is the link to the ad http://adverts.ie/7447294 :)

I can't see the pics in the ad on my phone, but there wasn't a 16" 4x100 wheel offered by BMW. They are either reps or some retard has redrilled some 16" M3 wheels

Oh well, since this is a thread about wheels, I guess I'll use the opportunity to ask if these would fit an E30?

I think I've asked this question before, but couldn't find anything by searching....

They are 16x6.5 (4x100) BBS RS 764 with ET45. Originally made for VW, I think it was for the anniversary version of the mk3 Golf GTI...

I like the look of them, just wish they were a bit wider...But will they fit? The rubber I'd fit would probably be 205/45/16.

They will not fit. With that offset , they will undoubtedly touch calipers /struts AND being VAG, they are very council

You will need at least a 20mm spacer, but the main problem is they look crap, as the spokes bend the wrong way

Don't know what rims you have on at the moment, but I'll assume you've standard 14x6J ET35 bottletops.
Firstly the ET45's will move nearer the calliper by 10mm, so you can check whether you have sufficient clearance for that.
Secondly the 6.5J rim is 12.7mm wider, 6.3mm each side, so the inside rim will move into the wheel arch by 6.3+10 (the offset movement) = 16.3mm. Again you can check this clearance.
Thirdly the outside of the rim will move into the wheel arch by 6.3-10 = 3.7mm.
All these measurements are compared to the positions of the rims on standard 14x6J ET35 bottletops.
Cheers

Thanks guys, had a feeling the offset wasn't right.

Wouldn't say they're "council" though :D Genuine BBS can never be...

They will also be 5 stud not 4 on an M3.

BBS RZs, were available in both sizes to fit the M3 as an OEM option.

While we're still at it.....16x8 ET25 all around? 225/45/16 tyres? Possible?

I think I'm in love...(ignore the pic, they do them in 4x100 too)
