I know drifting an E30 may not be to everyones taste but just wondering is the power output of an M52 adequate for a drift machine from anyones experience on here?

A 318is in the dry, that must be hard work and some good driving

there's a lad goes to teeside drift track with a white 318is ... drifts it all day then drives it home .

I assume a hydraulic handbrake is essential for starting the drift, I wonder what the best mounting position is?

no its not essential, its more of a crutch for people who cant get the other techniques.
the best position is between the steering wheel and the gearstick.
