Suspension pads
Moderator: martauto
Hi im going to fit pro sport coilovers to my cab, i was thinking of fitting new rubber pads, im a bit confused as thier are few different sizes in thickness in them, why is that? Also would it be wise to change the front and rear top mounts as well, thanks

It's similar to the '80s Mercedes, so you could adjust the ride height without having to change the springs.
Quite handy if a previous owner has fitted lowering springs and your sump keeps getting knocked, like on a Merc 190E I once owned.

Should i go for the thicker ones and i could adjust them with the coilovers as i want a decent stance not to low and would like it to be comfortable as well when driving. What are costs for front and back. Cheers

Go for a size that give you an appropriate ride height with the springs you are using.
