There are two types of H26.

One based on the 323i which has Bosch L jet tronic and a 2.6 engine, the other based on the 325i with Bosch motronic and a 2.5 engine.

The are both similar in CC and spec to Alpina's 323i based C2 2.5 and 325i based C2.5 models.

Yes they did build a 323i H26 and 325i H26. I have a 84 Hartge H26. Built by Hartge Germany.

Torombolo was asking for info on 88 Hartge H26 specs. That what I gave him. Hartge also built a e30 323i H35 m30 and a 325i H35 m30. Both earl and late had different horse power.

Those specs you have state Bosch L jetronic for both H26's but no 325i ever had L jetronic.

That is what listed in the 1989 Hartge catalog. I bought two of the Hartge catalogs from Germany.

I also have the 1988 hartge catalogue.

It's wrong as the 325i based H26 retained the 325i's Bosch motronic system.
