So a 325i manual popped up for sale near me for £795 with just over 70k on the clocks. I've never owned an E30 before, but to me this sounds a bit cheap especially for a 325. The thing looks a bit of a shed too and obviously needs work doing but I don't want to waste my time with it if it's going to be a lost cause. So what say you? Is the price too good to be true? Pics below.

(Also apologies if I've posted in the wrong section, this is one of my first posts here! :) )

It's only rot that kills e30s really check all the usual places I believe there's a buyers guide pinned on the forum somewhere, if its tax & tested I think £795 isn't bad but would be nicer if it was £600  good luck

Thanks, I'll have to go check it out! Also should've mentioned that the car isn't taxed or tested.

Looking at the trim and the axed rear valance, I am guessing that is a lowly four pot with a 6 pot engine 'thrown' in to it. Under bonnet pics / dealer spec check will confirm all.
320 and 325 engines look similar to the untrained eye so be careful !

Thanks for the advice, I'll be sure to look into that. Exactly how similar are they? From what I can see the key giveaway is the intake manifold?
