Hi,

Just paid Ԛ£4.99 on ebay for a 2005 BMW TIS manual, 'As the dealers use' apparently. Well, i have never seen such a load of rubbish. I feel like i've been robbed. I have just spent a good couple of hours trying to work out how to use it and i have so far managed to find nothing more useful than what is to be completed in Insp1 & 2. I know this piece of software is meant for BMW technicians but i can't even find a single useful diagram on the thing. I am used to working on the old pc but this is beyond me. Has anyone else got this? Do you find it useful? What does TIS mean?

Cheers :?

Technical Information System

There is some info on there , but its more focussed on later models and a few limited "how to" bullitins

You need an ETK if you wanted exploded parts drawings, useful for taking stuff apart
Product Development and Endurance for Delphi.

Original performance chips, original works not unlicensed copies :D Email FTW

I got the full pack on ebay (ETK and TIS) for Ԛ£5 and I thought TIS was crap aswell.
ETK is pretty handy though, especially as my local dealers are no good at finding parts on there or they order the wrong part number.

I don't know how them BMW engineers manage to do any work on these cars by following that TIS system. Just wish i had asked you lot before first. There seem to be a lot of people on ebay who are making a packet by selling any old rubbish.
