Sams' small restoration............

Today I got the Rogue Engineering short shifter working properly now the beast changes gear really nice you can feel exactly where you are before you even go through the gear gate! She also needed a new prop shaft donut the previous one was new but only lasted 2000 miles before splitting and deforming. I put a e34 M5 one on with new lock nuts the car is progressing every week now I am starting to enjoy it more and more every time i turn the key! A R32 got a bit lemon earlier thinking i only had 215BHP under my right foot little did the muppet know i have nearly three times that! The look on his face as i absolutely ripped the golf a new arse hole was hilarious!

Had the turd at mines today, lots done, including a custom ratio high torque LSD. Told sam to give it 200 miles to run in, lets just say I think he thought I said 2 miles
Really turning in to 500hp car now!

And another 1000 rpm to go!
And the rest Barry, 7k with an E30 cluster is really 6.2k with the E46 M3 cluster plugged in. At idle they both read identical, but as the revs rise the E30 cluster over reads in comparison to the E46 M3, in a very linear climb.bss325i wrote:And another 1000 rpm to go!
We know because our cars can run both clusters simultaneously!
Ps im sure that pic is a selfie too!

New diff shows 4000 rpm at 100 mph so redline is at 8300 rpm means the engine is capable of over 200 mph.........bss325i wrote:And another 1000 rpm to go!
I must say Dr Demlot's diff has transformed the cars behaviour drastically the 2.93 motorsport build is like having the rear wheels linked to the steering wheel with plenty traction controlling lock.......
Dr Demlot knows his stuff as we all know!
Always a pleasure drive to Cambridge and see the Dr!
You up the Ace tomorrow Sam?

Nice grab handles lol
It's not just the power that impressed me, it's the grip it has.
Epic car

I had the pleasure of having a ride in this
Absolutely the fastest car I have ever had a ride in.
The only other "fast" cars I have had a ride in is 964 Turbo and F430, 997.2 C2S, 997.2 Carrera GTS, E92 M3
The 964 Turbo felt the fastest out of all of these probably because of the Turbo.
Interior is stunning as is the ride quality
I think Sam says he has destroyed E92 M3s, E60 M5s, 997 Turbo, Aston Martin Vanquish
I would love to see what the look on their faces after realise ing and wondering what just destroyed them.

I'm not the best passenger in the world, especially when the drivers skill is unknown to me.
That car is mental and as per pony, the fastest thing I've been in.
The chassis handles it with ease as well.
A serious E30 that most people can only dream of building. Epic!

No doubt it's a silly quick car.......there are still some small additions to come that will yield even more powers and handling, including MK60 DSC, Engine EMS additions and live road mapping

This E30 pisses all over anything and everything
I would imagine only hypercars and tuned GTRs would worry it
We had some Asian lads who were curious to know about this E30 M3 and wanted to follow last night lol
I wish Pacer had a ride I would loved to see the look on his face as he got out lol!!!!

what an epic chariot!
325i Sport Tech 1 - R.I.P
E30 addict.
E30 addict.
Don't worry Simon I might get down to the Surrey meet there are some nice twisty roads in Surrey to demonstrate the performance once you sign the disclaimer.
Bear in mind peoples we had a extra 250kg of weight in the car!
The car still has some more mid range torque to come. its over fuelling at present due to the modified manifolds and twin 75mm pipe system that Hayward and Scott built. The car was previously mapped with a single 64mm pipe Miltek system so I'm sure you get the idea of how much power the new system will yield..........
We need to get Pacer in her to maybe Dr Demlotcrew can bring the Go-Pro to see his reaction?

Fooook that, I'll be busy shoe polishing my Alpina wheel
The car is a credit to you Sam, undoubtably one of, if not the finest modded E30 in the country . And to think you started with one of the most f0000ked saddest turds out there, the ex Simon zone mod scrapper . You haven't molested it, you've saved it !

Well Zoners I have broken my first of many halfshafts I only nipped out to get fish and chips in the car. It cost me more than lobster at claridges never mind got home at 1am after i had the car recovered! Dr Demlot thought I had destroyed the motorsport diff but I replaced the shaft Sunday morning and she drove fine.
