looking to get a replacement engine for my 91 325, or have my m20 rebuilt. anybody know good places in essex, within the m25 or even a bit further is ok. would be looking for a place that suplies and fits. will have about £800-£1000 in a couple of weeks, would that be enough. thanks.

I'm currently in the process of finishing my rebuild. Parts and machining alone cost me near the 1k mark.

Labour is not accounted for.

with a rebuild, i wouldn't get any new parts unless needed. would just be too strip down give all a clean, get port and polished. just too make sure everything is ok. and never knew it could cost that much to rebuild one.

they're all 25 years old and knackered. Most will be in need of a refresh all round
