What is the lowest drop springs available for a cab 325i

Assuming you want to drive the car rather than replace sumps / fillings and look council .

60mm is lowest I've seen. Anything lower is just asking for trouble.

It's really the rears I'm interested in getting quite low the front is fully adjustable coilovers in which I can adjust the ride height .

What size alloys you running? You might get problems with rubbing.

Hope you have plenty of funds for new sumps.
My cab was lowered years ago, and I put it back to standard height due to cracking the sump twice on the M20.

If you got really low then you might have problems with the arches rubbing on the tyres?

I'd go for a 40mm drop personally.

When I bought my cab it came on -60mm springs and dragged its sorry arse everywhere it went, even once replaced with -35mm springs it was low.

To be honest the -15mm Mtech Springs is probably best for a cab.

I measured the springs that I have just taken off they are 5inches from the pigtail to the other end ,and when I mean the wheels were tucked under the arch it was seriously under didn't really scrape or rub unless a major bump at speed but the issue that I had was that the springs looked like they have been cut and didn't fancy driving the car with cut springs so hence the reason I'm looking for springs i have also got rear adjusters that can sit in between the spring so I can have the ride height I want .

If you want some advice from someone who bought a 325 cabbie with 17's and 60mm drop, is don't.

40mm is plenty. Honeslty. You spend more times shitting a brick going over speed bumps and anything that looks like a small bump in the road than you will admiring the 'stance'. Plus 17's are heavy, tramline like mother fuckers and will snap on you if you don't know the limits very well. Plus unless you don't mind paying for a new set of rears every year and/or get the rear end set up right with camber adjusters (which will probably mean rolling out the arches a bit) then the tyres will get eaten. All on that inside edge.

And you will get rubbing, once you start putting the toe down a bit as you get confident. It rubs. Oh yes, it rubs.

Trust this from one who knows. I'm looking to get it raised back up and getting shot of the 17's once I have the readies and wheels I like.
