I'm looking to get coilovers for my iS but after tons of threads about how crap jom's are I've been looking for alternatives out there without blowing the budget on GAZ.

So a little research and the inbetween seems to be the fk system has anybody owned these or heard if they are any good?

I had them on one of my E30's, very good setup for the price!

I had the ride and height version and had no issues at all!

However I couldn't get the rear lower enuff at the time

Sounds good, I just want a reasonably low setup that still drives nice and with struts that won't die after 6 months

PM Geeman - he also had a set on his car. He had his car quite low at the time, maybe he could provide some pics etc.

Never had any issues with struts or any other suspension items when I was running them.

How low are you looking to go? If I remember correctly the fk's claim to go -80mm and I plan on using e90 drop hats to give about an extra 12mm. I can honestly say I that I think my sump would be sat on the floor at that!

As low as it will go ahaaa. but the coilovers for e30's are all in the £200-£600 which is mental money.

I wouldn't say that's mental money really, it depends what you're after I guess because I don't really think jom's should be classed as coilovers but they are good if you just want to go as low as you can for as little money as possible.

I use my car everyday and I would be pissed off at myself if I brought jom's and the car drove like crap on them and the struts died after 6 months, that's why I think I'll go with the fk's.
