right i know the answer id decant coilovers, but whats better, ebay coilovers or apexi lowering springs, whats better out of the 2. cheers

I've got a set of like new condition Jamex lowering springs 325i for 50 quid if you want them

Will you take £15 inc delivery m 8 ?? I would pay the full price but I had a £758 sleeve done last saturday so need to watch ma budget innit :D

It's Zone banter, stick around you'll get it :)

Do a search on this and you'll see it's a much discussed/asked topic. Cheap Ebay coilovers=sh*t. Quality dampers/springs=good....

unless you want to invest in some decent coilovers Gaz etc,

the you would be better off, gettign some uprated shocks, and a set of lowering springs the H&R cup set sounds ideal for what you want.

lowering an e30 excessively, just leads to numerous headaches and lowering it on cheap tat like jom will cost you time and effort in the long run. when you have to replace not only your sump but also ridding the car of the jom setup :)

cheers rich, i know the differance between cheap and good as ran avo gtx on my corrado but not got the funds for decant set atm so looking for a cheap opition just to drop it for the min till i save some pennys, just want a nice drop and try and stiffen it up a bit :-) will have a look into the h&r s

well the same principle will apply to the suspension for the e30, as youv said cheap doesn't normally mean good.

i have a set up apex springs if your interested. also some avo rear dampers, no fronts though.

TA-Technix (hottuning) shocks and springs - 60/40. Best of the budgets.

Don't just stick some lowering springs with your original shocks, it'll make you sea sick, or break your spine.
