Hi ya last night i blow my e30 engine and im thinking of doing a engine swap my question is. Honda f20c s2000 engine would it fit has anyone done one before a build tread.I know its a honda but im looking on having some fun with it and keeping it for a daily aswell.Please no why or wtf comments thanks :cool:

Sport tec 2 i no lets say i get a hole car what am i looking at getting aswell for the conversion ?

The thing is ive brought a breaker s2000 cost me 600 its just seating on the drive and all ive got 2 do is drop it at rjs bmw in mosley but gotta work out what else im looking at lab cost 800 but what else would be needed would it be a easy fit ??

You've done well to get a breaker for 600 notes with a decent engine and box. And labour of £800 to fit it seems a bargain.... it wont be a straightforward conversion.

It's a conversion I'd love to do, but I think it will take quite a bit of planning and fab work to get it done well.

The guy in the vid you've posted has some details on M42club.com if I'm not mistaken. The swap took him 3 years from memory!

I was just about to post a link to that! Quite a fast car and he's a capable driver to, but not fast enough so he's bolting on a super charger.

2 guys here in Iceland have put an S2000 engine in to a E36 compact,,,

the car is flying,, but its made as a rally-cross car
