Hi does anyone know if another wiper motor from any bmw will fit the e30.[/list]
They don't make bm's like this anymore!..They should.

There are wiper motors from other MAKES of car which are very similar to an E30 motor, and can be adapted to fit.
Have a look around a scrapyard.

Don't worry Trev, he has got one sorted. Its off a '67 Scammell Contractor, but with a few days foooking about he might have wipers :)

quick question,..

my wipers are properly slow..
there is a slight improvement on stage 2, but not much.
No real resistance when the wiper blades are up, so it must be the motor right?

Common problem this. And getting more common by the day. They are getting old and weak now. A lube up may do it.

mine were crap.Popped the motor out and did the procedure from the wiki and they are now like new.While the motor is off feel how tight the linkage is.There shouldnt be much resistance if any.
