I am looking at a 325 cabriolet with the modern bumpers.
Said to have 103k miles and an mot but no tax. It's in a metallic grey colour with beige leather interior.

Bodywork is generally pretty good with very little signs of rust showing, a second door lock is fitted on the drivers side. The roof has a tear in the window. Slight blemishes on the paint here and there and a couple of mouldings need fixing properly.

Bbs Wheels could do with a refurb but could clean up ok. I have not been able to drive it or look under the bonnet yet but underneath looks oil tight.

Interior looks used but no cracks on th dashboard.

Its offered at 1500 but would like to get a bit off that price. I know its difficult to say without pictures but is this a good price or too much possibly? I will test drive before buying but just wondering on the face of it if they are worth more than the asking price?

Many thanks

Rust, torn roof, no tax and NO PHOTOS = 500 quid.

Thanks for the replies, i totally understand its difficult to say without seeing it in photos or even better, in the flesh.

I have just been really struggling to figure out values, with so many on ebay and pistonheads asking quite high prices!

Are E30's selling particularly well in particular the cabriolets? I have seen this car on the side of the road for a few months on and off.

I just dont want to buy an overpriced car which will need a lot of work to be useable

If its not too rusty then £1500 could be ok, just use the wiki guide and check for rust. If there's nothing serious and the MOT's reasonably long then £1500 could be a good price.
