but one thing that nobody can deny is that in the E30 world.. he is the hero of hero's for obtaining not one, but two zero mile sport Evo's
in my 20 something years of owning these turds I have never seen that happen and i doubt it will ever happen again...
it was very sad to see him shot down by the usual suspects on here that own scrap 316i's I suppose they were still waiting in anticipation to see Burtcocains pics of his M3 barn find

Wilson is a slimy snake of a man as well, would rather dip my dick in battery acid than buy anything he endorses.
The issues reported are the tip of the ice berg, they have a bit of a rep locally and with a friend working just opposite in neath abbey I hear a few stories about the staff.
Directly responsible perhaps not, Personally responsible yes. End of the day it is a relatively small business and he is the guy at the top, he has the power to say how they do business and the option to clean his business practices up, he just chooses not to.
Selling a car with issues is no big deal, can happen without even knowing the car had issues, its all about how you choose to deal with it from there on.
Tbh I think the wrap sheet may contain much worse the just some clocking, I don't know the specifics but will ask about next time I am up that way.

Steve, Hero? Really?

Spot on Pete. Envy is a horrible thing.pacerpete wrote:Rodderz wrote:Nothing daft about pointing out that one successful man amassed his money by being dishonest in the past, and immoral(at the very least) now!harry_p wrote:I don't think pete is defending it, just pointing out that it goes on (or used to ) everywhere, and that to slate one person because of it is pretty daft.
He came here looking for respect which he didn't deserve!
I think you will find most successful people have pulled a few strokes in their time ! Very few of them as mundane as serving a Laguna to some council type that has had a haircut at some stage.
The reality is you are just jealous of his collection of 14 53 mile Escort Bonus 90s !

Some of the posts on this thread are quite staggering, if I'm completely honest with you!

Call the feds , now !
I believe some of the reprobates may even have a few unpaid parking tickets and , shock horror, had other peeps take their points for them ! I have even heard rumours of Ebay 'trotting' !
It is an ugly world out there Rodderz, but obviously not where you live, contrary to what spook tells me

It would be pointless , everything I buy gets sent to China in shreds
I have 'adjusted' a few speedos for zoners who I have sold second hand clusters to, I hope they gave me the correct speedo readings or else I better get a brief !

I don't think Andy will be too pleased that you divulged that he had also clocked cars in his past either!
If I was as strange as you I would sue you for libel but I would rather laugh

I'm neither shocked nor silent. Does that count for anything? What I am neither shocked or silent about you should make your own judgement on - just in the same way you've judged others

Rodderz:
I think you need to chill out a little.
If you get this upset of someone joking about clocking, I dread to think how upset you get watching the news.

Rodderz, what exactly is your agenda?
You're getting pretty close to "personal attacks" here, which would be bad.
Just a friendly warning.

How do you work that out? Please point out where I'm not discussing statements made on here? I'm simply repeating these and asking questions looking for answers!Morat wrote:Rodderz, what exactly is your agenda?

Fine, well I suggest you continue your investigations by PM and keep this thread on topic.Rodderz wrote:My agenda is that I'm a huge car fan, and a frequent user of car forums! And, as a car enthusiast, and a very honest person, I hate car clockers, as should we all!
