the cars been sat for months, and the battery is now flat..
i need to get a charger that will charge the battery and then keep it topped as the car isnt driven, but just need to move a few times a year...
checked in halford yesterday, the guy recommended me 2 that cost around £60, but they were pretty bulky and that was there own brand...
not to bothered about the price, but just need a decent one, that will actually do the job, and not destroy the battery...
what do people on here use, for there garage queen...

+1 on Optimate. Cracking bits of kit.
Mr Beemerbird always gets his from here

And I successfully kept my battery happy and healthy with a 'motorbike battery charger' when I was in Sweden for months and the car was mothballed.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem with the optimate then.

I just use this...
And periodically plug the battery in, did it about 3 times over 6 months and its still going on the car. As long as the battery isn't wired in the car the charge shouldn't dissipate too quickly.

Yes, the optimate is the best at maintaining the battery charged, but as I said, its one hell of a slow process to get it up to 12.7V if you're starting from 10 or less.
I was just pointing that out as the OP may not have been aware.
That's all.

These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....
