Was wondering what the price was for an inspection 1 in general, really need to get it done on mine but have heard the prices can be extortionate? Anyone know anyone that can do one, dealers or zoners??

the oil change isn't a problem, but have no mechanical knowledge and don't really want to mess with what I have no idea about, just wish I did lol

why do you "really need to get it done" ? all filters changed is easy, even a coolant flush ,change plugs, is easy

look through that list and ask yourself... "check and ajust handbrake" , is your handbrake working ok ? if so leave it, lubricate door hinges- easy, etc etc, a lot of it is either easy to do or dont need to be done if its working fine

but- wonder how much dealers charge for it ? not heard of anyone from here getting one done in a long time, the stamp would be nice :cool:

Don't waste your money.

Bring it to a KNOWLEDGEABLE garage / mechanic, get them to do a full vehicle check and spend the 'inspection' money on addressing some of the issues that it WILL have .

Let me take a wild guess;

'If you are under 14 and barely have breasts,he will put you up for the night.'?

i wouldnt regard this as sound advise im sorry to say.!!

the bloke has admited to not being great so the chances of him leaving air in the system and suffering a cracked head less than 100 miles down the road is quite high..

prob best to do as pacer said, take it to someone fairly priced but knowledgable
