I'd say £1250, as there's probably £750 of bodyshop bills to come to rid the panels of rot and paint the O/S.

I would paint the full car as its red if its the original paintwork you'll never get it to look right.Topblag wrote:I'd say £1250, as there's probably £750 of bodyshop bills to come to rid the panels of rot and paint the O/S.
If you just paint the O/S it would stand out a mile. red is hard to get a match on.

The Wiki also states that without pictures the car is worth 200 quid.illmonkey wrote:The wiki puts it at ~£2k. But what people would be willing to pay.
Also, the only way a 318iS with rust gets over two grand on the Wiki is if it's got some extremely goo kit on it.

Does the wiki guide allow for the 'galvanized' shell on the 'baby M3'?Grrrmachine wrote:The Wiki also states that without pictures the car is worth 200 quid.illmonkey wrote:The wiki puts it at ~£2k. But what people would be willing to pay.

The 15" BBS are the benchmark wheel; they don't add 300 to the value, although I understand the Wiki isn't really clear on that so I'll clear it up. And if the car's got two rust points and a dent then it's not going to be worth 5-10% more than the Final Price; it's really 5-10% less.
All in, the Wiki estimates your car a lot closer to Topblag's original guesstimate of 1250.
