Verde,
Ive seen your new E21 (nice car btw), just thought you might like to see the below link and see what good quality base spec E21's are going for now...

Whilst this one looks minty mint, the colour is not its best feature.
Food for throughout!
One for Verde

Yeah thats a wee minter. Currently trying to raise funds George....Come the 28th I am unemployed again and have to throw atleast 450 quid at the 21 to get it right and another tonne at the E30 to get it on the road. Nevermind cosmetics :/

Get the E30 MOTed and shift it on for as much as you can. Reinvest the proceeds in sorting out the E21, which is the better of your 2 cars.verde wrote:Yeah thats a wee minter. The sad reality is that running one car is going to be a stretch for you - two will be impossible and will just end with both of them going nowhere.
Oh, and buy those Alpinas for it because they'll look great!
After spending about 3 grand on it and a whole years restoration? yeah right. It can sit on sorn or whatever until I get myself on my feet properly. Its not on HP and not costing me anything, not like I have limited room to store it. Only going to cost 100 quid to finish then it can sit and be used whenever.snakebrain wrote:Get the E30 MOTed and shift it on for as much as you can. to be fair going on the price of one car hardly tells you the true value of all the E21'saimlessrock wrote: just thought you might like to see the below link and see what good quality base spec E21's are going for now...
To even come close to an average market value you would need to find about 50-100 different adverts and come up with an average from that.
Having said that classic cars are worth what someones willing to pay and as well all know as far as classics go only bone standard original ones with low miles ever sell for big money

1991 BMW E30 318i Neon Design Convertible (Sold)
1990 BMW E30 325i Touring (Sold)
1990 BMW E30 318IS (Sold)
1990 BMW E30 316i (RIP)
I doubt there are 50-100 left, let alone for salepac1982 wrote:aimlessrock wrote: just thought you might like to see the below link and see what good quality base spec E21's are going for now...
