Is the car it's self locked as well?
Youth is wasted on the young.
If there's no way of getting into the car itself, the answer is to press the boot lock in with a 1/2 inch socket extension and give the end a good smack with a lump hammer. It often does enough to pop the boot open, but the lock will be buggered.

Remove the rear bench and knock the ski hatch plate out... Its already pre cut and it only held in place by a few small bits of metal. a few direct strikes and they pop.
Means you dont have to replace the lock and have a seperate key for your boot.
