Hi

Quick question, will the below fit an M3. Thinking of buying a second set of wheels

front 8.5 x 17" OFFSET - E14
Back 10 x 17" OFFSET - E28

Thanks

They should be ok, but you might need to be carefull with your tyre choice, and you won't know if they'll clear the front brakes until you try them on. The calliper sits quite forward in the wheel on m3s.

Rears might need a small spacer.
cheers,

I've run 8.5 x 17 et13 & 10 x 17 et20 on my m3

One set was borert C's and they cleared the brakes with lots space

My MK morltorsports are the same size & et and also clear

However depending how low the car is, 10j on the back with 245 35's needed arch rolling

235 40's may have cleared but it's a stretch

Personally I think 8's & 9's with with 215/40 and 235/40 is perfect

Hi

Ok so i got the wheels, only tried on the back wheel today..... It didn't fit :( it's scraping the spring mount on the inside, I'm gona try a 10mm spacer tomorrow to see if the clears it. currently its ET28 so will make it ET18.

By doing this I’m worried its going to bring out the wheel, so start scrapping the arch (they are rolled in, so hopefully not).

Has anyone else had this prob, is anyone got 10 x 17" OFFSET - E28 ???

I found this online, it's been very helpful.

Hi All,

So i finally got around getting the wheels on and they fit without srubbing ;-)

I had to put 6mm spacers at the front (to clear the calipers) and 8mm spacers at the rear.

these are Alpina rims of a b12

anyway check them out

Sweet looking, but how do they ride at speed - any vibrations going on?

They look really nice, I've been thinking of picking a set of pinas up just for a change. Looks like quite a stretch on the front though! What tyres you running?

going to take on a long drive tomorrow and see how it goes, local driving today was fine, steering cuts without problems and goes over speed bumps fine.
