Hey guys just wondering if any off u ever had a fuel tank leak around the filler pipe area ? I fuel up but can't see exactly where from thow :( are there any other fuel pipes etc around this area and is it a bitch off a job to replace thanks :)

Tank fails at it's seam and where the filler stub fits.To test,slide under the car just forward of the r/h rear wheel and grab the filler pipe and pull.If it moves,or comes off in your mitt,you need a new tank.

It's a good half day job,propshaft,heat shields and so on are all in the way.

Yup. Thats a new tank job. It rusts out around the inlet filler, nothing to be done other than suck up for a new tank. Or stop filling it up and never park on a slope to the right. I lived like that for quite some time whilst debating and saving.

I saved and sucked it up. And a good choice it was too. Do the bushes, rear diff and brake lines whilst you've got the subframe out.

Thats if it's a twin pod tank. It could be a single pod. Lift the rear bench and check how many holes you have either side. If its one a side then it's a twin, if its only one on the drivers side then it's a single.
