Hi
Just thought that I would introduce myself to the forum as I have just become the owner of an MTech 1 320 Cabriolet.
I have bought the car from a friend whos dad owned it for the last 14 years, I have always looked after the car and in the last few years its had £1000's spent on it including every bush, suspension and steering joint replaced, the drivetrain is all new, the only thing that needs doing are the valve stem seals as she smokes from cold if parked downhill. We went through France to the Le Mans Classic and Spain last year and it was brilliant, the car has only done 13k miles in the last 14 years, and a total of 99k, with history before he bought it, I ahve done the rest of the work since.
The only faults that I can find are that there is a bit of rot around the windscreen, I have removed it and there are 2 small holes that are a fairly easy repair. The bodykit is the next job to remove, I am hoping that it is OK, the rest of the car is vertually rot free and sound so I hope that the sills are good, but I stand to be corrected.
Are there any people local to Huddersfield, West Yorkshire who meet up? Wouldn't mind meeting and looking at some other cars and am quite willing to fund some beer if any experts could cast their eyes over my car and give me a few pointers.
Many Thanks
Chris

Unusual to find rot in the 'screen frame of a cabbie,I traced a rust blister on my touring's 'screen frame to a mis-placed bit of trim,it was covering a drain hole in the l/h front corner.
