hi all

I have a 1988 (july) diamond black e30 M3 and wondering which wheel to go to?

M tech 1 - original with the stripe but its huge and not loving it

Mtech 2 - 370mm one which I prefer but will it de value the car as the wrong wheel?

or should I just go with what I like and not worry about following the book as close as possible.

am pretty sure the car would have had an original Mtech 1 on it given the age.

I am trying to keep it as standard looking as possible.

thanks, DC

Go with whatever makes you happy, my man.

If that means fitting a MOMO wheel because you like it then do so- then worry about that come sale time if you want to keep it OEM, fit a Mtech 1 wheel for taking pictures etc.

Whatever you like, but keep the original in a safe (Dry) place for resale time.

alacantra sports evo wheel if you like driving around in gloves like a homo, which I do!

on a serious note as posted above the smaller tech 1 wheel would be the perfect match if you want to keep it OEM

smaller tech 1s are like rocking horse poop.

I am going to get an Mtech 2 370mm as daily.

then keep the tech 1 for re sale further down the line.

thanks for your input chaps.

I wouldn't worry about it. The 370mm M tech 2 leather wheel is very sought after and has increased in price recently. Besides, steering wheels are easily swapped.
