What yellow light are you refering to?imye30 wrote:petrol gauge not working prop when half full still the yellow lights is on an seams to no register prop an same with the temp gauge only works on 2 bars
FYI
We have a filter here that removes that 'orrible 'text speak' ordinary English is fine....
It's a little difficult for anyone to diagnose a problem with the small amount of details you've given. You don't mention what car for example. Fuel gauge problems can be down to the sender, but cars with the smaller tanks have one sender and the larger tanks have 2 (I think that's the right way round).
You could try looking in the Wiki, both fuel and temp guage problems are covered in there. There is also the search function, which will bring up the numerous other threads covering the same problems.

That's odd,orange on all the BMW's that I have owned!imye30 wrote:the fuel yellow light
Would suggest that you check the brass nut on the back of the gauge for tightness(that's the earth connection)and have a check of the electrical connections to the sender units on top of the fuel tank. These can be found by removing the rear seat cushion and un-screwing the inspection hatches.
