Big bore throttle body

I am after to upgrade to big bore throttle body for my 325i convertible and I wonder if any body can recommend where I can get one. Also can this upgrade give some extra torque and better sound on my engine. Thanks all.

Hi there, welcome to the forum

I am just waiting for some tooling to land at my door and I will be on with making these and starting a group buy.

As for power increase, if you think it will be night and day, it won't, no more induction noise either. What it will do is give you an initial better throttle responce, and a few extra horses up top end. It is also future proof, as in it will work with, and compliment other mods that you do to the engine.

Although I gather some on here are more sceptical about this mod these days, there is a page on the wiki that gives more details on what can be expected with this mod. See here:

I fitted one to my 325 tourer years back and I can vouch that it did make a noticeable difference - more responsive throttle and it certainly appeared quicker off the mark to me.

Maggspower - please put me down for one when you're all set up. I have a spare TB waiting to be modified and was waiting for someone to start this up again. Good work!
