just finished building my 325 and got it all legal on weekend, so after couple runs i'm happy with it just need couple things to finish it off,
anyway first time in rain today and oofft its a bit sketchy in the wet, i'm no stranger to a bit sliding fun with my e34's but this thing just steps out on every roundabout and corner with slightest touch of the throttle, doesn't help that my town has more rounabouts than anywhere else lol even putting the power down on the straights it starts swingin.
i'm just running 14 inch bottletops. think i need some nice premium rubber before i end up with a ban for diagonal driving

I just picked up a 325 last night, having owned an IS up until now. I'm noticing how twitchy it is on roundabouts. 6 pots all the way..
No wet weather trials yet..

aww blessingtons, I'm just so jealous of your 'just a 328i M52 with a LSD and 15" almost slick BBS'S. which is your car, used to have 13" bottle tops years ago' I'm almost reduced to tears..
I'm puzzled how you stopped with 13" wheels on, without brakes
even more jealous of your edit, which is different to the one quoted above..

Ref the OP - are you sure your Rear Subframe Bushes are OK? I thought I was a drift hero for a couple of months until I got the MOT report..

Surely any rwd car is only "tail happy in the wet" if you're not driving it according to conditions. Less throttle = not tail happy

Sorry mate but it does strike me that the risk assessment form alone would take most of your lifetime to fill in.

great. once you get round to getting a slipper you'll notice how much it better the drive is.

An m30 engined e30 with budget tyres on in the wet with a 3.73 LSD fitted, now that is a handfull, rear tyres spinning up in 3rd without even trying

Those shitty tyres didn't stay on the car for long!

Definitely, I think most of the bushes could do with being replaced, and perhaps slightly stiffer on suspension, then an LSD may be on the cards...

It's all part of road safety, if you can control your car in an emergency with budget tires, anything else is like a godsend..

S50 conversion with 4.27 diff (gearbox needs a 3.15 ish) on cheapo plastic tyres on 14" botttle tops - that was fun. Pull away in 3rd with wheelspin, spin the tyres in 5th. Tyres lasted quite well, the diff on the other hand....
