my honest opinion if its in terms of judging "professional photos"..they are ok photos but nothing great or particularly professional looking really and seen much beter on here taken by owners, the setting, isnt great and the car doesnt look shiney/clean enough in the light,or the camera hasnt quite captured it/or captured it too detailed,, in the sense of if it were magazine type shots intended they are not great, i know from my own expirience its not that easy to do with a schwartz car at night, - a flash on a black car at night doesnt really do it , and there just isnt any imagination there really for me im afraid

1st ones the best, but with "proffesional" shots, the small details matter, way the leather seats are not quite lined up right, etc, which small details are what make proffessional shots better

yeah it was only a last minute decision to do it really and after i washed it there was some spots of rain on the drive to him. the location was just thought up quickly too. i took a picture on my driveway on my iphone when i had finished cleaning it and it looked shinier then. look...

good work, sure is better for some spanky 15's and a polish Diamond Schwartz is a royal pain in the bum to get an even sheen.. Tidy!

I like the photo's personally, it's not like we're talking David Bailey.. As for the seats being perfectly in line

looks much nicer, as above with a flash in the dark on a schwartz car it never looks shiney/decent, you need natural light really to get decent results on black

demon shine, is good stuff to use for shine and water marks

But it is noticing the little details that make a big difference. If we were critiqueing these then yes I'd agree with Polsta on the lack of imagination/setting etc. (lighting and composition is dull, blue bins in background- really?!!) They don't do it for me either I'm afraid, but I know I'm REALLY picky and difficult to please when it comes to photography!!!

BUT...

You got them for free and they are -for most normal people- not bad! Sure as hell better than a couple of shots on a camera 'phone. Enjoy the photos of your car :thumb:

Can't blame the man for trying, especially as its he's hobby at present, good on him for putting himself out there. I'm a photographers assistant for a living and have worked on several car shoots. They're a b@st@rd to light, mainly because of them being reflective and curvy. Location is down to personal preference really but he could benefit from using diffusion (creating a softer more forgiving light) of some sort on his lights.

Nice looking Sport by the way...

As it happens demon shine is what I went over the car with after I dried it. I have had the car almost a year and never polished or waxed it since I have had it but it does come up really well.

demon shine is best used wet ive found, well semi wet/dry, as your drying it, to avoid any water marks

but waxing is for protection from the elements and protecting the paint work, your car will come up amazing with some detailing work and look superb, its well worth doing

clean it
clay bar (a very good thing to do)
a paint renovator
a polish
and waxing

it will look showroom and youl feel very satisfied and pleased with yourself

even just waxing it after a demon shine will yeld good results, you can use a liquid type wax, which is easier/quicker to apply, but doesnt last as long as a solid wax, - a tin of simoniz caranuba wax (round gold tin £7.99 halfords) is a bit of a ball ache to do, but gives excellent durable protection and beads the water off the car very well
